ALUMEN IP Law PC specializes in Intellectual Property law issues and is experienced with matters unique to the medical device industry, traditional manufacturing, service, exploration industries, high tech, and emerging growth companies. Our seasoned attorneys have handled hundreds of patent and trademark cases from the preparation phase, to grant, maintenance, and post-grant procedures in diverse technology areas.
Our practice is limited exclusively to IP matters and we do not have the overhead costs associated with large general practice law firms, which allows us to service our clients in a cost effective manner. We have been called upon by multi-billion dollar companies, as well as small and medium sized companies, to handle complex IP issues, including providing patent clearance counseling.
We are geographically competitive regardless of where our clients are located and have acquired a reputation for providing cost-efficient legal services while meeting the highest standards of quality and professionalism. We currently support clients that are based in Europe, Asia, and of course, the US.
Where needed, we assist clients with identifying and procuring third-party patents as potential market barriers for competitors, improve clients’ cross-licensing position to counter-claim in an infringement suit, or provide a source of revenue for the client. We believe and encourage our clients to turn IP assets into revenue-generating streams by monetizing their patents.
And when claim scope is important and appeal, reissue, or reexamination is necessary, our staff of experienced practitioners, many of whom have appeared or practiced before the Patent Trial and Appeal Board (“PTAB”), are ready to go to battle on behalf of our clients.
